Sorry for my absence in DA lately! I've been working on a more detailed Gala set, getting caught up on commissions and finishing up two major projects for the upcoming juried art exhibit at my university. Expect more submissions in the near future, and thank you everyone for your support! (:

My intended major is something along the lines of Business Communication (public relations, etc) and art is a passion for me (like my special FX make up class for theater *points up* or my general artwork *points left* ranging from clay sculpting to painting on canvas to pencil drawings to...you get the idea)

Sorry i probably missed a note somewhere, so i'll just ask here:
How much are general Pony Commissions?

I would be looking at getting a Fluttershy (normal), Derpy Hooves and a Dr.Whooves.

Later possibly a DJ Pon3 and Zecora.

Hi there! Commission prices tend to run between $30 and $45 depending upon the complexity of the sculpt. I actually have an unpainted Derpy sculpture if you'd like to check it out, but either way send me a note or email (eneha@live.com) and we can talk about concussions. ^^ pport#

I really like your modeled ponies. How do you get the painted surface so smooth and matte without it getting tacky and clumped?

Thinning your paints helps. ^^ I sometimes get a small dab of water on my brush if my paint is seeming a bit thick or prone to clump.

My figures take a lot of coats to get the color solid and smooth, but I tend to use lots of light brush strokes and that seems to help me avoid the tacky clumpedness, also.
